Three more phreatomagmatic bursts were recorded at Taal Volcano yesterday, according to PHIVOLCS.
Based on their report released this morning, PHIVOLCS said that based on their surveillance from 5:00 am yesterday to 5:00 am as well, they recorded a phreatomagmatic burst around 9:30 am 9:33 a.m., and 9:46 a.m. yesterday.
Eight volcanic earthquakes, including a volcanic tremor, were observed around Taal that lasted up to five minutes.
It released 4,273 tons of sulfur dioxide.
The agency warned of possible hazards now that Alert Level 3 remains elevated in Taal, such as possible sudden explosive eruption, pyroclastic density currents or base surges, volcanic tsunami, ashfall, and accumulation of lethal volcanic gas.

A total of 1,632 families or 5,878 people fled their homes due to the Taal riots, according to the Batangas Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).
