The Commission on Human Rights (CHR) office in Quezon City physically closed starting January 17, Monday
This is for extensive contact tracing with its staff and individuals who have transacted with the commission over the past few days.
The CHR said no officer or employee was allowed to physically report to its main offices and to the commission offices in the National Capital Region and Region IV-A.
While CHR offices are closed until Jan. 21, officers and employees will continue to work from home setup.
It will be recalled that the CHR implemented a work suspension in the offices from January 3 to January 5 due to the increase in cases of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 here.
