The Philippine National Police (PNP) confirmed that so far there is still no “proof of life” of the 34 missing Sabungeros.
According to PNP Spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo despite the efforts of CIDG investigators not one of the missing cockroaches has been seen alive so far.
Fajardo said, after charging the Security Personnel of Manila Arena, the next case will be filed by the Police themselves from Laguna.
They are the ones who were pointed out at the Senate Hearing who allegedly abducted some missing sabungeros.
These include Patrolman Roy Navarete, Staff Sergeant Daryl Paghangaan, and Master Sargeant Michael Claveria.
This afternoon, the Provincial Director of the Laguna Provincial Police Office, PCol, was also fired. Rogarth Campo while investigating the case of the missing Sabungero.
Meanwhile, the two Laguna Policemen involved in the abduction of some sabungeros have been transferred to the PRO4A Regional Holding and Accounting Unit and were referred to the senate hearing.
They are patrolman Roy Navarete and staff sergeant Daryl Paghangaan who are both assigned to the Laguna Provincial Intelligence Branch.
Fajardo said their immediate superiors will also be investigated, in accordance with the principle of command responsibility.
Paghangaan and Navarette were taught by relatives of the missing sabungero who were among those who abducted their relatives.
In particular, the Master Agent of E-Sabong is Ricardo “Jonjon” Lasco of San Pablo City, Laguna.
