The Philippine National Police (PNP) today warned the public against the use of fake vaccination cards and the smuggling of border controls.
PNP Chief General Dionardo Carlos said that those caught violating such rules of our government will face heavier penalties, including imprisonment.
The general made the statement following reports that there were individuals presenting fake vaccination cards at checkpoints.
Carlos stressed what our countrymen are doing is a clear violation of Republic Act 11332 or the Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases Law.
Therefore, if there is falsification, tampering, or use of the vaccination card, they will be fined P20,000 to P50,000 or imprisoned for one to six months.
