The Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP-CC) has ordered the New People’s Army (NPA) to attack the weak points and local tyrants of their opponents in some areas of the country.
This was as part of the commemoration of the 53rd anniversary of the founding of the NPA.
In a statement, the CPP-CC said that the NPA deserved to punish only the individuals it identified as “fascist criminal bosses” who were allegedly responsible for the growing number of alleged extrajudicial killings and other crimes to be given justice claims its victims.
During the strike, the CPP called on the NPA to conduct more “special tactical offensives” to disable the communication system and air assets of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
Such an attack is said to be effective sabotage of the capabilities of the opponents and to take punitive measures against their weak units and elements that will push the AFP to further reduce the number of forces they deploy against the guerrilla.
Meanwhile, Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana once again recalled and reminded the lives lost and suffered because of the communists.
He said this on the eve of the 53rd anniversary of the establishment of the New People’s Army said much more could be done to stop the fighting in the country.
According to Lorenzana, although we are now enjoying peace, they are still continuing their mission to ensure the safety of the people.
He therefore, continues to encourage CPP-NPA members to use the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP), thus ending decades of armed conflicts between the communists and the government.
On the other hand the secretary also expressed his hope that the next administration will continue the initiatives initiated by the government for the peace of the whole country.
