The Bureau of Customs-Ninoy Aquino International Airport (BOC-NAIA), led by District Collector Atty. Yasmin O. Mapa, facilitated the site visit of the delegates of the Sub-Regional Meeting on Enhancing Cooperation for the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) Universalization and Humanitarian Disarmament on February 18, 2025. The event brought together key enforcement officials to strengthen regional

cooperation in promoting the universal adoption of the ATT and supporting humanitarian disarmament efforts.

The program included an exhibit hall tour and discussion on the BOC-NAIA’s procedures, as well as a facility tour of the Paircargo warehouse and its Assessment Composite Office under Special Deputy Collector Dr Siegfred L. Manaois. The tour showcased the security measures in place to ensure the proper handling, storage, and processing of conventional arms.
